City Terraces Cairns

Our spacious two-bedroom apartment was perfect for my family with three teenagers. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and tropical gardens. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was even Netflix for the kids!

In my wife's opinion, the WiFi should definitely be better for families needing to stay connected.

All in all everything was EXCELLENT, had an excellent stay at City Terraces where the staff provided excellent service. The location was marvellous - just next door to the various attractions, lovely restaurants and shopping centre and the esplanade or train station. There were a wide array of restaurants to eat, like Dumpling Studio that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

decent facilities, but needs better cleanliness

The location was convenient, very close to shopping areas and an easy walk to the Esplanade. The managers were responsive, quickly resolving an overpayment issue. The mountain view from our apartment was lovely.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the apartment could have been improved.

Nice balcony, with a view of the street, but that is not negative. Bright spacious apartment. For $4 you can do your laundry and for $3 you can dry it.

There was not enough detergent in the kitchen and the bathtub was not clean (apparently the apartment was uninhabited a little longer). The tap could only be turned off completely with a lot of effort. Admittedly, these are minor things, but a bit annoying on vacation and if you pay more than 100 euros.

All the staff was exceptionally nice, fixed my issues. A balcony and a kitchen area inside the apartment were handy. The very good bathroom and the rest was clean. The hotel's position was good, to everything you could want to do. Cairns Central Business district was worth exploring.

We had a great time in our one-bedroom apartment, enjoying the lovely outdoor pool and tropical gardens. The cleaning crew did a fantastic job. Just wished the WiFi was stronger!

It's a small hotel with reasonably spacious and updated rooms. The staff is exceptional and pleasant...

BBQ functions badly or not at all

Good location and friendly staff, but the Wi-Fi was weak in my apartment.

It had the facilities and creature comforts of home. Plenty of space in unit to spread out. Away from the noise and the hustle and bustle of Cairns but close enough to shopping centres. Secure car parking made us feel safe and secure. Great pool area for the kids to play and swim in. Beautiful lush tropical Gardens around units and pool area.

Very friendly reception. Detailed information about Cairns at the reception. Brochures in several languages including Chinese and Japanese. Not far from the shopping centre. Quietly situated. Swimming pool in the yard. Kitchen.

We had a bedroom without windows. As it was very hot and one had to leave the air conditioner running anyway, it was not a big problem. Nevertheless, it would have been nicer if one could air through a window from time to time, as one already noticed that the air in the bedroom was not so fresh.

I stayed in a spacious one-bedroom apartment. The outdoor pool is lovely and surrounded by tropical gardens. The owners were friendly and really helpful. It's conveniently close to local attractions and dining options. I felt very comfortable 🌴

The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and immaculate, perfect for our stay. Staff were friendly. The pool area was inviting. The unheated water was too brisk for a leisurely swim. The WiFi connection was inconsistent, difficult to plan our outings. Despite these drawbacks, the communal BBQ area was a nice touch for evening gatherings.
